We begin with a complimentary discovery consultation to understand your goals, challenges, and vision. From there, we co-create a tailored plan—whether it’s a coaching journey, strategic engagement, or ceremonial experience. Every step is grounded in clarity, collaboration, and care. We offer both virtual and in-person sessions to meet you where you are.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Dr. Shawnette Bellamy brings over 20 years of experience in leadership, coaching, and organizational strategy. Her background includes advanced degrees in leadership and human development, certifications in executive coaching, and extensive training in emotional intelligence, cultural transformation, and faith-based guidance. She also holds credentials in officiating and public speaking.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Black Ink Consulting was born from a deep calling to help people and organizations grow with purpose. After years of leading inclusion and transformation efforts in healthcare, government, and nonprofit sectors, Dr. Bellamy launched the firm to integrate her strategic expertise, coaching philosophy, and faith-rooted approach into a single, powerful platform for change.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One recent highlight was officiating a deeply personal wedding ceremony for a couple who wanted to blend tradition with intentionality. We worked together over several weeks to craft a meaningful experience that reflected their values and love story. In another engagement, we helped a mid-career professional completely revamp their résumé and personal brand, resulting in a successful transition into a leadership role within 60 days.
